Unfortunately I've been really busy with my real life job the last month but on the bright side that means I had lots of comic books to pick up at All Star Comics this week.

Gotham Academy #7: What is Damian Wayne doing at Gotham Academy?

God Hates Astronauts #9: I'm really behind on my GHA reading I need to catch up.

Bill & Ted's Most Triumphant Return #3: Excellent! *Air guitar*.

Colder Volume 2 - Bad Seed: What happens to Declan and Reece after Nimble Jack? More insanity of course!

Morning Glories #46: Just give me some answers damn it!!

Battle World: Runaways #1: OMFG MORE RUNAWAYS!!!

Battle World: Captain Marvel and the Carol Corps #1: I love the cover of this one.

Battle World: Thors #1: Thor more Thor merrier.

Battle World: Marvel Zombies #1: Yay zombies!

Princess Leia #4: Starting to get a little worried about that mole they've got there.

1602 Witch Hunter Angela #1: I kind of wanted to see what happened when Angela went to Hel but sure this is cool too I guess.

Revival #30: Rounding up a bunch of possible immortals against their will doesn't sound like a great idea.

Ghost World: This is the July book for All Star Women's Comic Book Club.

Feathers #6: The final issue of feathers.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #6: If you're not reading Squirrel Girl you should be.

Harrow County #2: I loved #1 this is very quickly becoming a favourite of mine.

Saga #29: I'm sure this will be a happy issue right? Right guys?

Rachel Rising #34: Rachel sets out to find out more about her possible murderer.

Big Man Plans #3: More violent violence!

Archie VS Predator #3: I just don't think I can explain how fun this mini series is.

I haven't had a chance to post my swag bags recently but I made sure I would have time this week so I could share my purchases with you guys.

Terrible Lizard Volume #1: I picked up issue #1 at free comic book day and honestly it just captures my fantasy of wanting to ride a dinosaur.

Apocalyptigir:l An Area For The End Of Time :I've been waiting for this one to come out for awhile because I love post-apocalyptic and I love cats.

Chew #49: The team is back together now what?

Dark Engine #1: I just thought the cover of this one is just amazing I couldn't walk past it.

Planet Hulk #1: HULKS SMASH!!!

Curb Stomp #4: It's the end of the end for The Fever or is it? No it is this is the final issue.

Big Trouble In Little China #11: Jack & Lo Pan are sentenced to washing dishes.

Howard The Duck #3: More Ducky goodness.

They're Not Like Us #6: This series is just great with some very dark and mysterious twists and turns.

Effigy #5: Effigy is getting very weird in a very good way.

Rachel Rising #33: One of my favourite series I'm a big Terry Moore fan.

Lost At See: This one is done by Bryan Lee O'Malley the guy that does Scott Pilgrim which just has the most adorable art style.

Fanboys Vs Zombies: I love fanboys and fangirls and I love zombies it sounded like a winning combination.

Kranburn: We got a preview of Kranburn in the Melbourne Comics Quarterly #2 and I've been excitedly waiting for it since then.

Seven: By the wonderful Alisha Jade who wrote for Fly The Colour Fantastica.

Guardian's Of The Galaxy Best Story Ever #1: Star Lord and Rocket argue about what exactly happened in their recent voyage

The Big Con Job #1: A bunch of washed up convention celebrities decide to band together with a plan.

Saga #27: You just know this one is going to hit you right in the feels.

The Uncanny Inhumans #0: A lot of hype for this one.

New comic book day has finally come again which also just happened to fall on the launch of Melbourne Comics Quarterly #2, so not only did I get to by a bunch of new comic books but I also got to meet some of the great local artists and writers.

Lady Killer #4: Josie has a hit out on her, how will she get out of this one?

Gotham Academy #6: Batman has interrupted the student's meeting with Killer Croc how will they get out of this one?

Chew #47: They are looking for Poyo, Colby is getting nervous.

Morning Glories #44: Dear God just tell me what is going on?!?!?

Wolf Moon #5: Cayce has decided to join Dillon on the hunt. Will they be able to finally end the hunt?

Spider-Gwen #1: What if Gwen got bitten by the radioactive spider instead of Peter?

God Hates Astronauts #7: I'm actually a little behind on my GHA reading.

Gotham Academy End Game #1: Another one-shot for the End Game special event. The students are on lock-down so they decide to tell Joker stories. Some of the stories they tell are actually pretty scary.

They're Not Like Us #4: Is Syd really going to kill her parents?

The Autumnlands: Tooth & Claw #5: The Champion hopefully has a plan for the conspirators before they make their move.

Wytches #5: Will Sailor escape? I haven't read this one yet because it will give me nightmares.

Cats Of Brunswick I have Touched: A local Mini Comic by Alex Clark about cats in Brunswick she has touched.

Effigy #3: Chondra attends a Star Cops Con to try and find any information on the murder victim

Ms. Marvel Volume #2: Who is the Inventor? Kamala goes full on fangirl when she meets one of her heroes.

Lumberjanes Volume #1: I've been waiting ages for this one to come out because every body seems to love Lumberjanes.

Melbourne Comics Quarterly #2: Another collection of local creator's work. I'm sad because I need to wait three months for the next issue to come out.

That Bullet Proof Kid #1: Issue one of the local comic That Bulletproof Kid. The creator Matt Kyme is just the nicest guy and signed my copy.

That All Star Bullet Proof Kid: A collection of short stories about Bulletproof from other local creators.

Catwoman Volume #2: Volume #1 was pretty damn dark we'll see how volume #2 goes.

Kinski: I've been looking forward to this one for awhile, its about a man who finds a stray dog and the adventures he goes through adopting him.

Ms. Marvel Volume #2: Everybody loves a teenage superhero!

Batgirl End Game #1: End game special event!

Princess Ugg #8: By the looks of the cover the Princess Ulga is going to lead an attack.

Red One #1: A new series about America's greatest hero who is secretly a Russian spy.

Rat Queens #9: THE RAT QUEENS ARE BACK THE RAT QUEENS ARE BACK PRAISE N'RYGOTH!!

Squirrel Girl #3: Squirrel Girl in space!

Giant Days #1: I don't know anything about this one but I love the colour.

Princess Leia #2: They are women on a mission.

To Hell With It Volume #1: This is a mini comic by a local creator Scott Reid. Pretty funny

Mail-Order Mutant: Another cool little comic from the Franken Comic series.

Long list this week and next new comic book day I will endeavor to post on the day.

Nail Biter Volume 2: Every body's favourite serial killer knows who the new Buckaroo Butcher is but so far he isn't telling.

The Runaways Volume 1: The Runaways is a great older series that finished up in 2009. A group of children find out their parents are super villains and decide to run away together and fight evil. Rumour has it there will be a new Runaways comic in the upcoming Secret Wars.

Catwoman Volume 1: Part of the New 52 series. Catwoman Made an appearance in Batgirl so I thought I'd check her out.

Angela Asgard's Assassin #4: Angela is hanging out with The Guardians of the Galaxy.

God Hates Astronauts #6: I really don't know how to describe this series anymore other than ridiculous.

Help Us Great Warrior #1: Looks a bit adventure time-y. Super Cute Great Warrior wears a big pink bow and her sword has a bunny head on the hilt.

Curb Stomp #1: I love the cover on this one. The super bad babes on the cover look like they are going to get up to some mischief.

Lady Killer #2: I love Lady Killer! Maybe I should cosplay as the wonderful Josie for SupaNova this year?

Lady Killer #3: Josie takes on a "special" assignment and her mother-in-law starts to suspect something, not that her daughter-in-law is an assassin but definitely something.

Nail Biter / Hack/Slash: A cross over between the two very successful series of Nail Biter and Hack/Slash.

Princess Leia #1: Honestly I haven't watched Star Wars since I was a little kid but Princess Leia looks really cool on the cover.

Feathers #3: Poe is collecting quite a little group of friends but now his father has found out he has been misbehaving.

Revival #28: They have found Aaron and he seems to be the key to whats going on unfortunately he can't tell us whats going on anymore.

Big Man Plans: I have no idea what this one is about. issue 1 of 4

Never Boy: The cover on this one is crazy I love the colours.

Nameless #1: I don't know much about the series but I've been seeing its name come up a bit thought I'd check it out.

Nameless #2: Read above comment.

Indy: Not a comic but a magazine for creator owned comics to advertise.

Wolf Moon #4: A werewolf in the shopping centre and some guy with a high powered rifle not caring about civilians getting in the way

Saga #26: Dengo starts to realise that he may have made a mistake in trusting the Last Revolution. Team Gwendolyn  are getting closer to helping The Will but who is this mysterious guy that looks like The Stalk?

After a short break in the swag bag due to All Star Comics being closed during their relocation I am incredibly happy to finally be able to get another Swag Bag and boy, did I have some catching up to do.

Nail biter Volume #1: A Serial killer who chews off his victim's fingernails somehow gets away with it.

Rachel Rising Volume #5: Why do I buy trades of things I already own in single issues? Because I have a problem that's why.

The Adventures Of Dr. McNinja: He's a doctor and a ninja, do I really need to tell you this is a comedy series.

They're Not Like Us #2: Is Syd really going to go through with it and kill her parents?

They're Not Like Us #3: Well she hasn't killed her parents yet but this series is getting pretty intense.

Thor #5: Thor kicks a bad guy's ass for using feminist like an insult. I respect that, that's awesome. Great girl power moment between Thor and Titania. Also guy Thor is reaaaaaaally bad at detective work.

Thor Annual #1: 3 Stories about 3 different Thors. One of which written by CM Punk of wrestling fame and illustrated by Rob Guillory of Chew fame.

Gotham Academy #5: Why is Killer Croc hiding out at a high school? And whats the deal with Tristan's eyes?

Rachel Rising #31: Who is growing flowers over the bodies and did he kill Rachel? How is Zoe going with that whole giving birth to the antichrist in 5 years thing?

Effigy #2: Chondra finds out who the body belongs to and just how obsessed her old fans really are with her.

Shutter #9: Who is Kate's mother and how are we going to find her?

Chew #46: OMG OMG OMG!! Chew is back!!!!

Rasputin #5: Rasputin almost died last issue, its gonna be tough to top that.

Bodies #8: We finally have an ending. How will it turn out for our heroes and villains?

Tooth & Claw #4: Will Learoyd take Dusty' warning about Goodfoot? Dusty learns more about how those without magic are truly living.

Morning Glories #43: I love the cover on this one because its true nobody likes Ike.

Bitchy Planet #3: The origins of Penny who is just my favourite character so far.

The Li'l Depressed Boy volume 4: I looooove Li'l Depressed Boy! LDB has a new lady in his life will their new romance blossom or bomb?

Colder Volume 1: A former mental asylum inmate's body temperature drops slowly over 50 years he doesn't feel pain and get can get into your mind. Great cover art, caught my attention.

Bitch Planet #2: The badass bitches continue to kick ass. Kam is offered a choice she says no but the other inmates suggest she reconsider.

Bodies #7: Second last issue in this series. Our body is alive again in all times how is that possible? How did Sahara survive the blast?

Gotham Academy #4: What's in the tower? Will it kill our heroes? Probably not it is only issue #4 and rated T.

Revival #27: Where is the professor? What will happen to that racist shit bag Edmund? Is he making a bomb?

Intersect #3: Seriously Intersect this is your last chance to start making sense or I'm not buying you again.

Big Trouble In Little China #8: Jack Burton is on his way back to face Lo Pan with his new army of Chinese gangsters.

Effigy #1: Some child TV stars grow up to be regular people like police officers. What happens when murders start replicating their old TV shows?

Princess Ugg #7: Free from their captors the princess' still carry on with their performances and the tides turn as the other princess' finally tell Julifer what they think of her mean spirited behaviour.

Thor #4: We find out how original Thor got his new arm but more importantly WHO IS THIS NEW THOR?!?!?!

Sex Criminals #10: Teehee sex. Our two sexy heroes now have another person with sexy powers on their side.

How To Make A Friend: A super sweet local comic done by Chris McQuinlan. There is no text because you imagine the story the way you choose. Super cute and SUPPORT LOCAL TALENT!!!

Feathers #1 from Boom!: A little boy is found growing feathers where did he come from? involves a musical man who kidnaps children and a plucky noble girl called Bianca. Very cute mini series which will contain 6 issues.

Angela Asgard's Assassin #2 from Marvel: Angela lost daughter of Asgard. Angela and Thor are gonna fight! very cool.

Intersect #2 from Image: Honestly I didn't really "get" the first issue so I thought I'd give it another issue to see if it starts to explain whats going on better. Very pretty but I'm lost.

A Town Called Dragon #1 & #2 from Legendary: It has dragon in the title and I like dragons. No idea yet.

Wolf Moon #2 from Vertigo: A werewolf tale with a different spin. A person is only a werewolf during the full moon and then the curse moves to another person. Creepy and Gory mini series that will contain 6 issues.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #1 from Marvel: Squirrel girl is adorable and funny. Just have to say this comic starts with her singing her own theme song while beating up bad guys. Hilarious.

God Hates Astronauts # 5 from Image: Just the most random collections of pictures and words strung together. Rolling on the floor laughing funny.

Locke & Key Volume 2 from IDW: Returning to Lovecraft to see whats happening with the Locke family. What will the new key do? Great series.

The Li'l Depressed Boy volume 1 from Image: I don't know anything about it I just keep hearing it's name come up. If I like it I will review it later.

Afterlife With Archie volume #1 from Archie Comics: The squeaky clean world of Archie is overrun by zombies ARGH!!! Very popular at the moment should be good.

Red Sonja volume 1 from Dynamite: Red Sonja is a warrior woman who will be to hungover to bother with bandits. Written by Gail Simone so you know its gonna be good.
